In this course, Prof. Subhashis Modak has enlightened the students on one of the most important asset of any airport which is its "Terminal Building". From his industry experience of working across major airports like Heathrow, he has critically evaluated the different types of airport terminal buildings, evaluating criteria of airport terminal building based on IATA concepts like LOS.

The course in detail also talks about how the terminal building is an essential component to generate non-aeronautical revenue and last but not the list he has laid down the fundamental design criteria to create a sustainable airport terminal design.

The course also includes a dedicated podcast with Mumbai Airport Architect Miss Saloni Verma on careers in airport terminal planning and design. She has also talked about her personal experience when it comes to designing an airport.
